Holy crap. THREE YEARS. I've been at this for THREE YEARS. Once again, only one (English-language) book this week. With the dollar-yen exchange ratio so freaking weak these days, I'm rationing myself. ( Read more... )Incidentally, it's happening. It took me about 1.25 hours to write this entry--I am forgetting English. That will be all.

Yes, I am once again monumentally behind on TWIB. In my favor, I wrapped up my job at USAFMC, moved across five states, and am preparing for the ultimate move back to Japan. In other words, I've been busy, busy, busy during the past five weeks. At any rate, jumping back a month to early August, I find I read the final two books in smeyer's Twilight series. You can read synopses/reviews of these novels in a gazillion other places on Teh Intranets; what follows presently are ( my impressions on the series. )That will be all.

I can't begin to explain what a huge impact One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich had on me when I first read it. This is just a huge shame. That will be all. music: rob thomas - all that i am |
